Voltus Freight – Zoom Integration Guide

This guide explains how to add, use, and remove the Zoom integration in Voltus Freight.

1. ADDING THE APP

To connect your Zoom account to Voltus Freight:

1. Log in to Voltus Freight.

2. Open Apps Settings (from the header or main menu).

3. Find Connect Zoom or Zoom integration and click it.

4. A Zoom authorization window will open in a new tab.

5. Sign in to your Zoom account if you are not already signed in.

6. Review the permissions requested and click Authorize.

7. You will be redirected back to Voltus Freight with a connection success message.

8. Your Zoom account is now connected and ready to create meetings from sales activities.


Note: The Zoom account email must match the email of the logged-in Voltus Freight user. If you see "Application not found" on Zoom, the app owner must add your email as a test user in the Zoom Marketplace (for development apps) or publish the app for all users.

2. USING THE APP

Creating a Zoom meeting from a sales activity:

1. Create a new Sales Activity or Calendar Event.

2. Select the activity type as Meeting.

3. Check the box "Create Zoom Meeting" (this option appears only when Zoom is connected).

4. Select Customer Contacts and/or Internal Attendees to invite to the Zoom meeting.

5. Fill in the date, time, and other activity details.

6. Click Save.

7. A Zoom meeting is created automatically. The Join URL is stored in the activity.

8. Share the Join URL with attendees or they will receive an email invite from Zoom (if supported by your Zoom plan).

9. Attendees can join the meeting using the link or meeting ID at the scheduled time.



Updating an existing Zoom meeting:

1. Open an existing sales activity that has a Zoom meeting linked.

2. Edit the date, time, or attendees as needed.

3. Click Save.

4. The linked Zoom meeting will be updated automatically.


3. REMOVING THE APP

To disconnect Zoom from Voltus Freight:

1. Open Apps Settings in Voltus Freight.

2. Locate the Zoom integration.

3. Click Disconnect or Remove.

4. Confirm the disconnection.

5. Your Zoom connection is removed. Existing meetings will remain valid until their scheduled end time, but you will not be able to create new Zoom meetings from Voltus Freight until you connect again.


To revoke access from Zoom's side:

1. Go to zoom.us and sign in.

2. Navigate to Profile > Settings or Connected Apps / Authorized Apps.

3. Find Voltus Freight (or your app name) in the list.

4. Click Revoke or Disconnect to remove authorization.
